PROMOTING MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS
Using art to tackle big issues
Dancing with Demons Events and Exhibitions is an organisation founded to raise the profile of artists whilst generating much needed funds for charities.
DWD Events Art Exhibition will showcase the artwork of over 100 artists from the South West of England at Colston Hall on 5th October 2019.
To dance with a demon is to embrace the fear we run from, to combat that which seeks to destroy us, not with anger, but with an art.

DWD ART EXHIBITION: RAISING MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS
5th October 2019
DWD will be teaming up with Art For Our Sake for a spectacular 1 day event held in Colston hall.
The aim is to raise awareness of mental health issues whilst examining the role of arts and music in relation to our wellbeing. The event will also look at bullying and explore ideas of how to combat the growing problem.
We have three key objectives. Firstly to raise much needed funds for mental health charities.
The event will also help promote local artists through providing exhibition space to display and sell their work. See list of artists included in the event.
Through raising awareness of mental health issues we hope to provide a greater understanding of the daily challenges they cause.
Turn your demons into art, your shadow into a friend, your fear into fuel, your failures into teachers, your weakness into reasons to keep fighting.
